He has a demonstrable track record of successful income generation having worked in higher education for over 15 years, initially in knowledge transfer and professional development at the University of Glamorgan and then as Director of Management Development Programmes with a responsibility for the strategic development of the Salford Business School training arm of the Enterprise Hub at the University of Salford.
Stuart then led the team responsible for setting up Salford Professional Development Limited. This is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Salford which delivers high quality, demand led, training and professional development programs (CPD) nationally and internationally. The company was successfully launched on August 1st 2012.
He then joined Alliance Manchester Business School (Alliance MBS), University of Manchester in March 2015 as Head of Business Development. Stuart is responsible for leading a team of Client Directors and Business Development Managers focused around Executive Education customised and open programmes, consultancy and sponsorship.
Having a strong academic background, with an Executive MBA (Distinction) and a BA (Hons) in American Business.
Stuart’s MBA dissertation “The Impact of e-Relationship Marketing on the Organisational Purchasing Behaviour of Corporate Training” won the ACAS Wales Prize for best overall dissertation, MBA and MSc Human Resource Management.
