He has built his experience over nineteen years in management roles at the leading edge of the car industry, then transferring this to the consulting, coaching, interim management and social enterprise arenas.
He worked up to manager level at Toyota Motors (Corporate, business, production planning and project management), both in the UK and European head office. Steve has applied ‘Lean systems thinking’ to the 3rd sector developing strategies to get people to work together for good. He is now bringing this expertise to academia and demonstrating IT platforms that help define common measurement.
His skills have developed extensively in breaking down barriers, perceived or actual, between governance, clinitions, and the voluntary sector.
